Amukela Game Lodge is situated in the Balule Private Game Reserve. It's located between the Kruger Park's Phalaborwa (45 minutes) and Orpen (55 minute) Gates. This Balule game lodge is situated in the Greater Kruger National Park and close to Hoedspruit (20 minutes).
Amukela Game Lodge is built on a dry riverbed, overlooking a waterhole where game come and go all day long. By day you can relax at the pool with an open views into the bushveld. By night you can often see the bright evening sky and all you will hear are the sounds of the bush.
Listen closely to the sounds of African wildlife such as Lion, Hyena or the cunning Jackal. A maximum of 8 people can be accommodated at this Balule game lodge, which ensures exclusivity and privacy. All 4 rondawels have airconditioning.
Look forward to traditional African cuisine served in the boma (outdoor enclosures). The meals include favourites such as braai (barbeque), potjiekos and bobotie. Explore the African bush searching for the Big Five (Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Rhino and Lion) or enjoy a unique experience with an Elephant back safari.
Astronomy evenings (depending on weather conditions) on the Mercury-stardeck with a 10' (254 mm) Dobsonian Skywatcher telescope.
