Day 1: Johannesburg to Balule Nature Reserve
A real bush experience is what guests will enjoy while on this Affordable Adventure Package at a safari lodge in Balule Nature Reserve. Self-drive (or take a private road transfer option) from Johannesburg to the Balule Game Reserve gate and sign in before travelling to the lodge. Upon arrival, your hosts will welcome you to Balule Nature Reserve and explain your programme for the next three days. The evening game drive departs in the late afternoon with a chance of seeing nocturnal African wildlife.

Day 2: Safari Lodge in Balule Nature Reserve
The Balule Game Reserve is part of the same ecosystem as the Kruger National Park and good game sightings of Lions, Leopards and the rest of the Big Five are guaranteed. There is abundant bird life, which is attracted by the riverine forest. Brunch is enjoyed on the veranda after returning from your early-morning activity and dinner is served under the stars in the traditional African boma (outdoor enclosure).
Your expert ranger will teach you about the habits of the Elephant and the Rhinoceros, and how to identify the ferocious little Ant-lion and the giant Dung Beetle. For the more adventurous the lodge offers a great way to get close to nature on game walks under the guidance of an armed game ranger.

Day 3: Balule Nature Reserve to Johannesburg
This is the final day of your Affordable Adventure Safari Package in the Balule Nature Reserve near Kruger National Park.
