It’s back to safari basics at Sausage Tree Safari Camp, with its canvas tent-style accommodation in Balule Nature Reserve. Tents they are called, but comfy havens they are, with plush beds, crisp linen, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms with a freestanding bath. There is even an outdoor shower if you want to really feel at one with nature.
Each tented unit at Sausage Tree Safari Camp also features air-conditioning to ensure that you always stay refreshed during those sweltering summer nights. Each is incredibly spacious and well-protected with additional thatched roofing, and they are set on elevated platforms so you can always savour those views of the surrounding bushveld.
Added mesh covering on the windows and door ensure that bugs and insects are kept outside where they belong!
