- In addition to the large mammals seen on guided game drives like lions, elephants, buffalos and giraffes, daily bush walks will bring you closer to the smaller creatures, which includes insects, birds and reptiles, which you will soon come to love.
- If you’re fond of birds, the reserve features just over 250 different, species, including Pel’s Fishing Owl, the Southern Ground Hornbill, the Lappet-Faced Vulture.
- In between safari activities, you can lounge on the deck or swim in the pool. Nicole, one of the lodge owners, also offers a number of soothing treatments at her on-site spa room.

They are master storytellers and can pinpoint the exact location of certain wildlife, from prides of lions, to towering giraffes and warthogs on patrol. They will even sit with you for a while during dinner by the fire to share some of their favourite bush stories.
