Wildlife is the main attraction at Imagine Africa Luxury Tented Camp, but there are also day tours and nearby attractions including the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, hot air ballooning and elephant interactions.
Conservation is King
The "Black Mambas," a creative and committed anti-poaching force, are located in the reserve. The entire staff consists of women, and it is common to see local Shangaan women patrolling the reserve with a fierce commitment to protecting wildlife from poaching and unlawful hunting.

The Balule Natural Reserve is home to approximately 220 known species of birds, making it a great place for birdwatching. Many raptors can be seen, including the endangered Lappet-Faced Vulture, Pel's Fishing Owl, and Martial Eagle. More birds that you may be lucky enough to tick off your list include the Saddle-Billed Stork, Kori Bustard, and Southern Ground Hornbill.
